Lockdown Codes

 

 

Lock Down Codes:

Phase I is the normal lockdown state. In a state of emergency, we may choose other lockdown states.

 

Phase I Lock Down

All exterior doors locked Adults posted at all student entry doors until school begins After tardy bell only locked main entrance, monitored by adult, is to be used for access or egress into/from building Classroom doors and windows not required to be locked Students pass within building as usual

 Phase II Lock Down 

Same as Phase I PLUS interior doors and windows locked Blinds and window treatments closed

 

 Phase III Lock Down

All exterior doors locked All classroom doors and windows locked All lights off, blinds and window treatments closed Students and staff moved away from windows and doors as much as possible, within classroom

 Phase IV Lock Down

All exterior doors locked Adults posted at all student entry doors until school begins All classroom doors and windows locked All air circulation units in the building turned off All appliances which circulate air, fans, air conditioning units, etc. turned off in all classrooms and offices Blinds and window treatments closed Hallway use limited to emergencies only
