Greetings to my Pepper family,
As the principal of the Dr. James N. Pepper Elementary School, it is my job to serve your children by providing them with the principles by which they may live and learn. It is my desire to connect with your child personally and demonstrate to them that they come first. Here at our school, our goal is to provide parent satisfaction by being a school where you will know us. Our doors are always open for any parent to visit. The staff at Pepper school would like you to like us. Please come by at any time if you have a question or concern. Next we want you to trust us … After all; we spend 180 days with your child.
Here, at Pepper school our belief is simple: set high standards, make expectations clear, provide meaningful data driven instruction and watch our students develop academically and socially as well. Each child is provided with the skills to succeed in the classroom and in life. An important and essential component of student achievement is the partnership between school and family. Therefore we encourage our parents to be partners in classroom instruction through attending our Title I sponsored workshops on reading, writing, math, and behavior. Together we can inspire our children to develop a love of learning, to have empathy for others, critical thinking, problem solving and other 21st century skills.
As the principal my goal is to provide a respectful, cooperative, nurturing environment committed to achieving excellence. All students are treated as individuals and challenged to reach their maximum potential. I believe that teaching must be student centered and best implemented based on the child’s learning style.
Pepper staff members are dedicated, compassionate and determined to inspire each of our students to reach their full potential through use of technology researched based current best practices.
If you have a child, know a neighbor or relative that has a child that interested in a school of excellence, please contact me at 248-336 -7680 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about our school.
