Michigan Senator Mallory McMorrow Inspires Einstein Students for National Reading Month
Oak Park, MI – Einstein Elementary students had the privilege of welcoming another incredible guest speaker as part of their National Reading Month celebration. Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow visited the school to share her passion for reading and leadership, captivating students with a special reading session.
In addition to serving as a state senator, McMorrow is also an author. She introduced students to her upcoming book, Hate Won’t Win, which is set to be released in the coming weeks. Her message resonated deeply with the young learners, encouraging them to make a positive impact by always choosing to do what is right.
“Senator McMorrow is an inspiration to all of our students, her presence brought motivation, and upcoming book serves as a roadmap for taking action and doing the next right thing. We are grateful and honored to have met her," said Superintendent Angel Abdulahad.
The visit was a highlight of Einstein Elementary’s ongoing efforts to foster a love of reading and learning, further reinforcing the school’s commitment to empowering students through literacy and leadership.
